My goal as a Special Educator at the Hancock School is to create an atmosphere of positive learning while addressing student’s specific learning needs. Working in conjunction with the dedicated classroom teachers here at the Hancock School we have successfully removed the stigma of students who have different learning styles or who experience learning challenges.
I am excited to have received training in the Wilson Fundations Reading and Language Program and feel strongly that the implementation of this program will successfully transition students from learning to read to reading to learn which is essential as students progress through Elementary School and transition to Middle School.
I received Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University’s Boston Bouve’s College of Allied Health Professions and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from North Carolina State in Raleigh, North Carolina. Please feel free to contact me at any time at school if you feel your child is having difficulty with their classroom curriculum.
